Hi there, my mother has ovarian cancer stage 3 and has done her first round of chemo, 2 weeks on and 1 week off, double dose in week 1 and a single dose in week 2 and then a week off. She receive her scan and there was a 30% reduction which is very positive. Her blood count is low so they said to take a break and my mam is worried if she takes a break the cancer will come back and she will be back to square one. 

Does cancer come back quicker if she stops or how does it work, she is very anxious to keep getting chemo to give her the best chance so any advice wuld be welcome.
