Hi there ... and welcome ... it sounds like your mum is in shock ... l think even hearing the word cancer, is a nightmare, and saying 6 months, it is gonna take her time to be o.k again ... if you can just go with her on this journey she has found herself on ... holding her hand, and letting her have all those emotions ... just tell her your there, and if you can do this together ... hold on to each day, make memories... don't worry about admitting your both scared ... share tears ... share lots of hugs ... and leave nothing unsaid .. pack a lifetime in to those months you've been given ...

My mum went suddenly with a heart attack. . Chatted in the morning... she was gone at 5.20 that afternoon ... I never got the chance to hold her just one more time ... you have been given the time l never had...  this is one of the hardest things you'll ever have to go through... but you can do it to gether, at your mum's pace ...  sending you a vertual hug ...
