Hi I wonder if anybody could reassure me? My dad had a king resection done last April on the 24th to remove cancer. When we went to the hospital we were advised that if he had of been well they would have done chemotherapy but as he ended up with pulmonary embolism he was still unwell when we went. Well after 12 months of fewer chest infections and colds we thought we were on the home run. Not even close!!!! He has ended up with a haemothorax sample sent noted abnormal cells so are waiting to speak to oncology hopefully tomorrow to see if anything could help. I have nurses my mum for two years with Alzheimer’s to receive a death certificate that says long cancer, they forgot to tell us and the consultant left which was in July 2016 now to this. Not sure how we can even get through this xxxxx
