Hello Adam.  Welcome to the forum.  I am so sorry to hear of your distressing situation  with your mum deteriorating more quickly now.  It is now some years since I lost my mum to cancer and I know how helpless you can feel.  It is after midnight and I feel you will get some more responses tomorrow; I am really just wanting to let you know how pleased I am that you have come here.  Have you got other older family members who are helping you through this?

I have attached a link to an organisation for young people aged 11-25 who have a family member with a terminal diagnosis.  I have only recently come across this so have not had any feedback but it sounds as though it may be helpful and you might like to contact them.
