Osophegeous

My partner had a tumour removed from the lower bowel in DEC 2016 due to regular blood tests and scans it has shown up cancer of the osophegeous which was due to be operated on but a week prior to that a pet scan was done which has now shown something on left hip for which a biopsy is being down this week. So op was cancelled which was disappointing and worrying that while they are doing other test the osophegeous one may get worse. Not sure where they will go from here

  • As I noticed this is your first post with us I wanted to come by and give you a warm welcome to our forum, Tiggs123.

I'm sorry to hear about your partner, it sounds like this is a very worrying situation and not knowing where they will go from there must be frustrating, to say the least.

Do you have a date for your partner's next appointment with the medical team? If so perhaps it is a good idea to create a list of questions you want to ask in order to get a better picture, and here I'm assuming you haven't done that yet.

Also, feel free to give our cancer nurses a call if you feel like talking to someone medically trained might help, they're available on this phone number 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

    Best wishes,
