Lung cancer gains advantage over my Mum

Hi, my mum has been diagnosed with very advanced lung cancer stage IV in March 2017. She had 6 lots if chemo which she finished in August. Chemo works really well for her and tumour shrink a lot! She did very well, no much side-effects apart loosing her hear. After six week had 5 lots of radio to the chest and brain. We were very lucky and that time cancer did not spread to other parts of her body. But from October she started fell her legs very week and weeker every day. In October she could not walk at all as cancer spread to spinal cord. She had another 5 radio to lower back as was pressure on a spinal cord. She was getting better every day, she started learn to walking again. At the end of December she was able to walk very slow  with no frame and claimb the stairs. Unfortunatley since that weeknes in her legs back and now is bed band. Last week she get last radio to lower back but did not change anything in her condition. Doctor ask me to contact Palliative Care Team.. it is realy sad as overal she is in good condition but nothing else could be done for her. I was asking about any trial or immunotherapy.. but nothing is available for sclc

. Please let me know if you herad about anyting  She could be treat or refer to...

I am heartbreaking as I could not do antything else... only waite with her...

good luck to everyone who just begin that journey with relaties.
