stage 2 endometrial cancer

Mum just diagnosed with stage 2 endometrial cancer. She has been having different tests MRI Scan/CT/Biopsy but today it was finally confirmed. Stage 2 Grade 2 endometrial cancer. She is awaiting a hysterectomy now then will.need radiotherapy. It's all just sinking in now I think & I feel really overwhelmed :( Still don't quite understand re survival rates but they.said prognosis is good.

    Welcome to Cancer Chat although sorry that your Mum has had news that brings you here. 

    It can all be rather overwhelming and confusing when a loved one is given a diagnosis of cancer. We do have some information on our website about staging and survival rates which you may find helpful in explaining. I've linked it for you here.
