Welcome to the forum Lovegarden although I'm sorry to read about your dad and what he has been through.

Having fought both bowel and prostate cancer your dad is clearly one tough cookie and hopefully the results from the treatment will have a positive outcome when they come through.

Many members on the forum have been in a similar position with their parents and loved ones so will understand the feeling of helplessness you are experiencing at the moment and I'm sure some of them will be along soon to offer their support and advice. You can also use the 'search forum' option in the blue bar above to find and join in on other discussions that may be similar to yours so do give it a go when you have the chance.

In the meantime just let your dad know you're there for him when he needs you as sometimes just being by someone's side can be the best support of all.
