Mother in Law diagnosed with Liver Cancer

Hi every one, God bless you.

I am seeking some advice in what to do, in regards of my mother in law liver cancer. We feel she is been neglected, the Doctor dealing with her case very rude, gave us little information. The MRI was inconclusive.

All this is sad and frustaiting, she is tired of seen her GP for many years, complaing of pain and  absolutely nothing done about it.  Now to find out that she is with such problem, received not help or simpaty from those professionals.

Is for this reason, and with all respect we are asking anyone, that could give us some advice in what do or where to go, as we feel that they are closing the doors... We are also waiting for a referral to another hospital, but its been 7 days since she has been released from hospital and not even a call to find out how she is doing.

Thank you for taking you time to read this message.

  • Hi there Hugo ... I’m a tad confused by your post ... if your mother in law has been in one hospital surely they would have done tests ... and if your waiting for another hospital to go to , they sound as if they are doing something ... I’m not sure but I know I never got a call to ask how I was doing , i Dowt they would have the resources...I think they know you can contact drs if any problems ...there are times when you get inconclusive results ... it’s frustrating for you but can’t be helped ..

well I hope you get more results at the next hospital... they are not closing doors on you if they are refuring you to another hospital ... it’s sad you feel so let down , as hospitals are so stretched now and there are so many now with cancer .. and they work such long hours ... I’m sure if you write down any questions you have, either sergeon or oncology nurses will give you an answer ... Chrisie
