Hello,
Sorry to Lump my issues on you guys but really dont have anyone to talk to, or get advise from.
My father is currently stuck in thailand, He has Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Failed right lung, High Blood Pressure (thought the roof) Swollen Feet due to exceptionally high White blood cells.
He is a very proud man and dislikes dumping his problems on other people or having them worry about him, unfortunately i am very similar to him in this regard, I'm no longer close to the rest of my family so cant really have a proper conversation with them.
My wife is ok but always seems to turn the conversation to money and how much we are spending on helping keep him in hospital over there, UK govt dont really want to help as he has lived outside the UK for 8 years, and he cant fly anyway due to the O2 levels and blood pressure.
So my main question, How to ask him if he is dying? He knows and so do i, that he doesnt have long left. But how to ask someone are you going to die soon?
Regards
A Heart Broken Son
P.S I want to know about when he will pass away as i intend to fly out there and let him see his grandson and me before that happens, but due to the medical bills (around £25,000 so far) i only really have enough money to fly us there once or fly him to the UK if he magically gets better.
