On the subject of not wanting my husband to know he has only weeks to live, can anyone tell me if I hired a private nurse would he/she be also obliged to tell my husband his prognosis?
Hi there Petra ... when my bro in law was on his last few weeks and we needed help ... my sister got in touch with McMillan and they came out to help wash and make him comfortable and they chatted with my sister too ... I think Marie curie does that too ... and both are amazing .. and they were really discrete and listened to all the concerns they had ... it sure helped us all lighten the load ... as it can become overwhelming if you try to cope alone ...
