  • Hi Jenny,

My husband has been diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma. He has legions on his brain and has had radiotherapy everyday for the past 2 weeks. Today was his last day. The fatigue is unbelievable. He struggles to get out of bed. I know it passes as he had good energy at the weekend after a break from RT. I don't know about chemo. My husband is starting immunotherapy and Im anxious about the side effects.

My friend is an oncology nurse and she has advised me that if any symptoms/side effects are too strong you should ask for palliative care to look at his meds and see if they can change things around. (I assume it is the same there as it is here, palliative care are involved from the beginning of any cancer diagnosis)
