Stage 4 stomach cancer

Hi, my mum is a 74 year old lady who is fit abd active for her age. She has been diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. It has spread to nearby Lymph nodes and liver. She has been given options for treatment to slow it down and prolong life. Does anyone know what the life expectency averages are at this stage?

    I know you're looking for some statistics so I just wanted to let you know we have some general information about survival rates for this type of cancer on our website here but I would recommend chatting to our cancer nurses about this as they will know more about the outlook for a diagnosis of stomach cancer that has spread to the lymph nodes and liver.     Hello

    my partner whose 43 has been diagnosed wth stage 4 stomach cancer and been told 12 months WITH chemo and 6 without! He HAS to try...we have boys aged 10 and 8
