My mum has recently been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer and is receiving her first chemo treatment today. My dad and I will be there to support her and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how best to be helpful to her?
My mom is going through the same exact thing. Just finished round 2 of chemo. Find a very soft & comfortable blanket for her to take to all of her chemo infusions. My mom found the infusion center to be cold & the blanket really brought her a lot of warmth & comfort. Talk with her about fun memories. Offer to do chores that she would normally be doing laundry, dishes, vacuum. Give lots of love & hugs.
