Hi..my mum had pancreatic cancer oct 2014 completely out of the blue. No symptoms at all just a blip on her liver function found it. Within a day she was in hosp where she stayed for 3 months. There were complications and she ended up in HDUd. We thought we would lose her. Eventually she had a whipples operation and on Xmas eve she came home. Had the all clear after 6 months chemo. She got back to her old self fitter than ever. Then last month we were told it was back. In her lymph nodes and liver. She starts intensive chemo on Wed just to try and keep it at bay for as long as possible. Seems so unfair that she fought so hard and beat it just for it to come back less than a year after her all clear. The first time was so so hard for my sister and I and I can't imagine going through it all again. Trying to stay positive but it feels like a very big hill to climb .
