Newby here!

Hi everyone

I am a long married lady whose husband is now on his third primary cancer treatment - all completely different, he doesn't do things by half!

As we begin the third round of investigations in six months it all becomes highly daunting.  As Baggy describes it began with a highly intrusive bowel op, the removal of a kidney and now lymphoma.

We are a stoical pair but would like to hear of others experiences.

    Hi Baggyboo,

I have had two primary cancers within a year. Unfortunately I have no experience of bowel, kidney or lymphoma. I too am a very stoical person and try my best to keep a positive outlook, although it’s not always easy.

I hope that your latest round of tests doesn’t throw up any further complaints and am sure that someone with more experience of your husband’s problems will come along soon. In the meantime it might be worth looking up his condition in the search area of this forum. This will bring you to older conversations, but you may struggle to find someone who has followed the exact route that he has.

Only 1% of people have my type of cancer and I had to do a lot of research to find any mention of it. I found more information on the American Cancer website. You might find this more helpful too.

I shall be thinking of you both and will say a prayer for you.

    Stay strong.

  • Hi

Thank you great to hear from you.  It is the isolation that causes issues I find, thank you for responding
