Advice

Hi, my mum who is 68 has just had breast cancer surgery to remove lymph nodes and cancer.  She is just going through radio therapy at the moment.  Two things I wanted to ask.  It wasn't an inherant gene and wonder should I get checked and how do I go about that?  The other question is that my poor mum also has some sort of problem with her legs/feet prior to the breast cancer.  This is numbness/feeling the cold in her feet, making it hard to walk and the radiotherapy seems to be making it worse.  Has anyone had experienced of this?  Thanks for any help in advance. Tracey
