Hi my mum to has lung cancer and starts treatment next week. She is being so positive about it but I'm falling apart.xxx
Hi it lambs what I find when you filling like you are fulling apart is to go to you're room and write a letter or a note and also talk to someone a friend or your mum my mum has incurable cancer she is helping me along. We will fall apart but find a place you can have a little cry and talk.
Hi lambs thanks for your reply. It really is tough at times and not knowing what to do sometimes makes you feel so useless. I quite often ring a local hospice advice line which I find helpful.
Hi I can relate to you both.Finding it so hard to talk about my mums lung cancer to anyone because I don't want to upset them so I just go to my room and cry.I have a 13 year old daughter who is so close to my mum and is really struggling with it all and I don't really know what so say to her xxx
I don't know don't have any kids myself but I do have a few ideas that might help you and your daughter and mum. My mum has started to keep a cancer journal and also I think this other section you might like is write a book with your daughter and f all the fun thing you are doing or have done with your mum
