Hello
My husband was told he had aggressive prostate cancer in January 2013 and that it would only be treatable.
However, we were given the brilliant news that it had not spread and so was curable and he underwent 7 weeks of radiotherapy whilst taking Casodex. His PSA remained low until a year ago and his treatment was changed to Zoladex injections.
We were dismayed to hear this week that his PSA is continuing to rise and he now takes Casodex 50mgs as well as having the injections. He is booked for bone and CT scans.
I have a good network of support but really feel a need to talk with people in a similar situation as I am coping with a gamut of emotions at present.
Thank you in advance.
