  • Hi,

Normally professional support (district nurses, carers, MacMillan etc.) is organised through your GP.

The GP should also be able to explain what is happening as all results etc. should be copied to them. Does your Dad have a named specialist cancer nurse? They usually help coordinate things at the hospital end and can explain to patients and relatives what test and treatments are current and planned.

Your local MacMillan service can also help with care and benefits advice.

    Hope this helps.

    Dave
