Hello. Just to introduce myself and maybe find some support.

My Mum is 87 and has many cancers everywhere and is at home after a short hospital stay for investigations.

Now she is just gradually weakening and seeing her so helpless breaks my heart but she is aware and has chosen to just let it happen.................... we could have a few weeks left together.

All the care with care calls, district nurses and Hospice care have all been in place now for about 2 weeks and Mum has accepted support. She does not want to pass away anywhere other than her own home, so it will be difficult to try and transfer her into a hospice, even just for respite. Sad days.........................
