Oesophagus cancer

found out today mom's cancer has spread from the oesophagus to her liver and lungs and the only thing they can offer her his chemo,absolutely devastated lost dad just before Xmas. We go and see the oncologist on Monday to discuss chemo they can't say how long she has got not sure how I'm going to cope x

Hi. I am so sorry to hear about your mum. Found out today that my father in law has advanced esophageal cancer and he is too old / weak for radiotherapy. He has been ignoring it as he is main carer for my mother in law who has dementia. Awaiting a CT scan to find out how far xx

Hi Baggiebabe,
Just saw your post and thought I'd drop you a line to wish you luck for Monday. I hope the oncologist is able to offer your Mum chemo and that she responds well to it. I went through something similar to her and was lucky enough to respond well to chemo, though my primary and secondaries are still there.
