sorry to hear of your dads diagnosis. My husband had
granisetron patches , liquid metoclopramide down his PEG and a metaclpramise sub cutaneous pump to control his severe sickness during treatment. Try speaking to his oncologist or specialist nurse for advice. You could also see if the local cancer services do acupuncture as this can be helpful for some people.
hi sorry to hear about your dad .. my mum is going through the same as your dad , mum is 85 and been in hospital around 6 weeks only found out on 23rd dec she had oesophegeal cancer and confirmed on 6th jan , she has about 2 / 3 months to live , some days she can eat a little soup or drinks and others nothing will stay down , shes on a syring driver for sickness but this is the 3rd different drug they are trying as others didnt work .
i live 120 miles away so only see mum for 2 days a week at min as been trying to juggle work , visiting and home & her finances ect . im now on sick leave as this is all too much to quick, im only child so coping on my own wiv hubbys and sons support , wish mum wasnt so sick ,

Dad Wants To Go At Home so we (Mum (87) Myself and my brother are trying to get this right - we have finally got the district nurse to put him on a driver for his metoclopramide but he is still Vomiting so they are going to increase it - My Advice is to Avoid Anything that has Milk or Milk Products in it as that seems to be what sets Dad Off !
thank you for your reply , and the advice about milk , mum is really sick in a morning some days worse than others , sat they gave her anti sickness injection on top of the syringe driver , stoped the sickness for the day but made her sleepy and slurry , hate this , mum wants to go home too , x
