my husband has just had a laryngectomy and now advised to have Radiotherapy- only he is terrified that he will loose his ability to eat as well as he does now after surgery - has anyone undergone this treatment after laryngectomy ?

As with any treatment there is a risk of side effects. If your husband is really concerned then speak to his Dr or specialist nurse about this and they may be able to help answer some of his questions.
