I am desperately sad and cannot control my tears I am a mess .. can anybody help me please

  • Hello Mary, I dont think that I can help, but would just like you to know you are not alone.   There are many people on this forum those with this terrible disease, and those like us who love someone who has the disease.   I found it very difficult in the beginning when we found out that our 34 year old son had bowel cancer and secondary metastes in the whole of his liver with 3/4 of his lymph nodes that were taken when he had his bowel tumour removed.  His diagnosis is inoperable secondary liver cancer, he has had twelve fortnightly sessions of chemo (hospitalised for 3 days each time), first trial drug caused dvts and second trial drug did make a small move in the right direction but has ceased doing any good, and chemo has been suspended as he is going to Christies Clinic next week to see if he is suitable for SIRT treatment in his liver. As you can imagine we as his family and his new wife struggle to cope, we do not really know how he copes with all of this.  There will be other people who reply to you and they will have good stories to tell.   Everybody copes in different ways, every day brings highs and lows but love prevails and that you have to cling to.  I hope you have family and friends to talk to as well as the people on this forum. love lesliexx As I said I dont know how to help you but;thinking of youxxx
