  • Welcome to the forum Jen.

I'm sorry to hear your mum was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I'm glad she was able to have surgery and she is recovering well but can understand why you may be feeling slightly overwhelmed by everything that has happened and is still yet to come.

Many of our members find writing and talking to others who are going through simliar situations really helps them cope with what they are going through and I hope coming here will help you too. Post as much as you like or need to Jen, we're here for you.

    All the best,

  • Hi jenwah

Very sorry to hear about your mum and hope all goes well.

As for the exploding part I understand what you mean, that sometimes sudden or just constant waver of aching pain and tears that feels like it could burst out of you, yeah that's not fun and unfortunately i feel the same, however im sure and or hoping that with time it will not come as frequently and aggressively. Im sure your husband feels your pain bit I think till you truly live it, the true feeling of it is not quite fully grasped as it's just to unbearable.

Any way I take a strange comfort in someone understanding my pain and I hope this helps you in some small way to.
