My dad

My dad got stomach cancer.now he can't eat much being sick all the time. He only drink hot water and milk he getting thinner  by the minute he all bone  we like him too hospital may get a drip I don't think he gonna make Christmas   I'm so sad

  • You shared your sad story, some weeks ago. I wonder how you are coping now?

You ahared what was hspoening but didnt ask a qiestion or say much about your feelings, which is why I think people found it hard to respond.

Your grammatical style is the same as my deaf friends where English is their second language. I wondered if you are deaf or perhaps you would simply just distressed at the time of writing, which would be understandable, given the painfully sad circumstances.

I hope your Dad isn't suffering and that you are coping as well as you can.  Take care of yourself.

  • We always need to be positive about treatment but we can not always maintain our morale when the evidence tells us otherwise. It is not easy to stay strong but at the same time your father needs to realize that the family is coping well so that he feels good too. This is very important for the patient if it is time to leave. Take care of yourself. Wish you and you family all the best. Joe
