Black and white question really, how do I tell my 4 year old sister her nan is dying? She knows that she's poorly but obviously not in detail. Do we tell her she's going to heaven? Any reply would be great!
That's a hard one - maybe in stages. Talk about pets or other people that she's known or her friends have known who have died to introduce the concept to her?
Children can be very perceptive - you may find she already has an idea of what's happening.
