Brother with a Brain tumour

My brother has been diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Multiforme grade 4. We have been told there is nothing that can be done and he has maybe 12 weeks to live, that was 4 weeks ago after 3.5 weeks in hopsital. Does anybody know anything about how this progresses because we ahve been told nothing by the medical professionals about this. Paranoia is now happening more frequently.

    Hello Cococat - my mom is spending more and more time asleep.  I have a meeting with the manager of the nursing home to talk about her continued care tomorrow, which I have to admit I am a little apprehensive about what they are going to say.  I have to say the level of care they provide is totally wonderful, they are so kind to us as well as our mom.   The community palliative care nurse is calling me Monday to let me know what additional information she has obtained from the consultants on what moms detailed diagnosis is along with what we can expect moving forward.  Sorry to hear  to hear your dad has been sick and I hope he is feeling better now.  I am willing him to get in the record books for the longest survivor - keep the faith.  Thanks so much for your support it really is appreciated.  Sending love and support your way x

    My brother was diagnosed with the same in July of this but had been symptomatic since March this year.

    I was hoping to see What sort or experience you have had since this post as I'm struggling badly to deal with the situation. 

    I am trying to be extremely positive but I know there is no cure and this can be quite testing. I am 34 and my brother is 39.

    He had 90% of tumour removed from left side and has just finished first round of radio and chemo and due to start cycles next week. 

    I would appreciate any advice on any aspects. 

    Hope you have had the most positive outcome that could have been possible :)

    My brother has 4 tumours on his brain. We have been told that he only has weeks to love. He has lost use of his legs and gets very confused. But yesterday He was sitting chatting the way he always used to. Can he recover or was this just a good day
