Private helpers / supporters?

HI everyone. Macmillan volunteers are fantastic but understadably their time is limited. I was wondering does anyone know a private company or local networks in London that offer a service where they can come in a couple of hours a day and help / check everything is ok etc.... Much appreciated Claire

Not sure if this info will help but whilst we had a McMillan contact our 'caring help' came via the GP/community nurses who came in as and when required (sometimes four times a day). We live in Greater London and this was provided free of charge. You can also contact social services who can probably help with physical aids if required. If you prefer to go private then your GP Surgery should have contact numbers that you can try. All the very best. Jules54
