Hi, I'm not too sure how to start this. However here goes. Dad was diagnosed about 5 weeks ago with kidney cancer, but he also has two growths on his spine. They think the cancer has spread. He has his first lot of radiotherapy and has now also had a biopsy on his kidney. From what I know snd from what my parents are telling me it is kidney cancer, but they more concerned about his back as it could affect his spine and walking. 

However my Dad is in so much pain and discomfort and now his feet are swelling and I feel as his daughter is this it!!! I don't want him to give up. I have been told it will get worse before it gets better. My dad is 59 snd they thought it was sciatica... To see him now isincredibly  upsetting and hard. 

Is there anyone out there who can relate?!? He isn't dying but the pain is awful. We have the Macmillan nurses an the nurses have been great but I feel my mum isn't getting all the help she can. I don't know who to ask or what else I can do?!?
