Hi I'm new here ! My husband had a Hemangiopericytoma grade 2/3 removed in Nov 14 this is a brain tumour between the brain and skull , All regular MRI since finishing Radiotherapy but a couple of weeks ago he started having problems like before so an early MRI showed he now has a Glioblastoma Multiforme grade 4 this time it's in the brain so not good outlook but waiting for chemo to start anyone else had a long wait for treatment to star

So worried !

    Hello Lynn97,

    A big welcome to our friendly forum. I am sorry to hear about your husband's most recent diagnosis. How long does he have to wait for treatment to start?  I thought I would also let you know that someone posted just a few days ago who has also been recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme and may be in a very similar situation to your husband. You can read Jackieb1's thread here and respond to it if you wish. I have also made her aware of your own thread so hopefully you can talk to someone who is in a very similar position to your husband.

    I hope this helps and that others will be along shortly to share their story or experiences of waiting for treatment.

    Hi Moderater Lucie , thank you for your reply and support And welcome , we are still waiting to start chemo went to Doctors on the 10th of March and were told Chemo should start before or just after Easter but everyday seems to drag just waiting to hear ! Thank you for the name of the other person on here to are going through what we are , I will have a look take care x

    You're most welcome and I hope this forum will bring you the support you need at the moment.

    The wait must be so difficult for you especially the not knowing exactly when it all starts. I hope you find out soon as there's nothing worse than waiting in such circumstances.
