really worried

hello all im a carer to my dear husband who today was admitted to hospital for severe nausea after his chemo he has bravely fought cancer for 15 years he had facial cancer back then 3 years ago he took it in his throat and was left with no voicebox he now has it in his lungs since his last chemo treatment with terrible nausea and feeling very unwell what im frantic about a young doctor came to speak to us tonight and started talking about hospises and and things like this i had a 90 mile journey home and am totally distraught has anyone else had this im sorry not vry good into to me but am desperate for help thank you all for any info

    I'm very sorry to hear how unwell your husband is. I can't comment fully about what the doctors discussed with you regarding hospices but a hospice isn't just a place people go to die, many go there for pain relief and a break. Could this possibly be the reason he may need to go to a hospice? Sorry if I'm not much help.
