Hey,
So i'm new to this discussion board and was wondering if anyone can offer me any insight on the following.
I've had an extreamly rare form of skin cancer since I was 12 which was misdiagnosed until 14. It has been fairly well managed until recently which its developed into non hodgekins. Ive started chemo and i'm coming to the 3rd cycle. On the 4th or 6th I was told ill be getting a stem cell transplant which the docs have explained will be the worst year of my life.
Ive tried doing some research but come up with the same result. I was wondering if anyone has had this transplant and could tell me how it was for them?. Its the not knowing that seems to have me more worried. I am well aware that its different for everyone but id like to be fully prepared before venturing into it.
Thanks
