My father was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and didn't have any symptoms of it at all. He fell from a step ladder and hurt his back, but persisted into having a scan and it all started from there. He is 74 and has always been healthy and a hard worker, builder by trade, but since the set back, he rarely goes out. He has been doing very well on the treatment he has been having on the prostate, but he is having problems because his prostate cancer had spread to his bone/spine. He tried some radiotherapy on his back which seem to be great initially, but he was in awful pain over the Christmas and the doctors are trying to find out if he will do great on Radium 223. Has anyone had this kind of treatment????
