  • Hi Elaine and welcome to the forum.

Sorry to read of your husband's diagnosis and the tummy cramps and nausea he's experiencing.

There are medications that can be prescribed to combat these symptoms; I was given Domperidone for my nausea. Give your husband's medical team or GP a call on Monday morning and let them know what he's experiencing. If Monday is too far away, it may worth going to your nearest NHS Walk In centre for advice / a prescription. Hope this is helpful.

    Take care, Jo x

  • I don't know if there is any respite but just wanted to send big hugs.

My husband was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer in September and has just finished 6 weeks of radio therapy and chemotherapy. So am in a similar situation and share your feeling of helplessness. Big hugs again an xx
