My nan is 89 this month,she wasn't well in June and called the Ambulance and was taken to hospital they did blood tests scans,she was moved twice on to different wards wile she was in a hematoma came on her right leg it spread then we found out 6 weeks later she has bowel cancer they wanted to operate which she refused any way she ended up having to leave her home and going into a nursing home 3 weeks after being in there a hematoma came on the other leg then I found out there was paper work missing and I found out she also had a blood clot on her lung any way she was having injections for 3 months for the clots that stoped,she can not rember anything about being in hospital our about having cancer,her stomach is so huge,her arms and legs are getting thinner also she says her bones ach when I talk to the nurse's at the home they say it's nothing to worry about,all my Nan says most days is she wishes she was dead.sorry if it's long I'm New to this and wanted to say everthing.
