Worried - husband has stage 4 renal cancer

My husband was diagnosed a year ago with stage 4 renal cancer. Things were bad in new year after radiotherapy and before other treatment started, and got a lot better over the summer.  But now, initial kinase drug has stopped working and cancer cells have spread although the primary tumour has shrunk a lot and seems stable.  The cancer was found after it spread to his bones but tumours there are also shrinking/calcifying.  He has been given another kinase drug as a second line of defence. The cells have spread to his brain making him feel dizzy and fuzzy headed.  We won't know whether the new drug is working until he's had a CT scan at end of month and I don't know what I will do if it turns out is not working - he says he is starting to feel worse than he did when we discovered the first drug had stopped working.  He's not the type to get emotional, says we've all got to die sometime! - but I'm now finding it hard to keep cheerful. If I ask him how he is feeling he says fine and tells me to stop fussing. People say I'm strong and coping well but it's starting to take its toll. I'm pleased I've found this forum, think it will help me a lot  Thanks for listening/reading.
