Lung cancer - advice needed

My father was diagnosed on Friday to be told yesterday it had spread to kidney liver back and neck. They are starting chemotherapy soon to try and pro long his life. Has anyone been through this ? Did chemo work? How did you cope? I'm struggling .  Tia

    Hi Tia. Sorry to hear about your dad. We are in the same boat. My dad is 83 and has refused treatment. I feel so helpless. The only advice i can offer is get the doctor to arrange everything. If you can get to speak to the doctor yourself ask for a telephone consultation. Hope everything goes well. My heart is with you and your family. Love Jaykay.
