Not too sure how this works, but here goes.

In 2007 my mom was diagnosed with colon cancer. It was a first experience of cancer for her and our family. She began going for radiation as it wasn't  very advanced. After her treatments she went into remission. The cancer was gone.

8 years later: today we got the results that my mom has breast cancer. We don't know how advanced it is just yet. We have been trying to be positive. Last Tuesday she went for a biopsy so we tried preparing ourselves since. 

I guess it's just another waiting game until we find out the stage she's on. We are trying to be as positive as we can.
