Welcome to the forum. You find yourself in a difficult relationship as regards your boyfriend's past medical history and not knowing whether he has had treatment during the time you were apart or whether is still receiving treatment. Unless he is able to be open with you, you may never be fully aware of what is going on.  As you have 'got back together' and knew each other for some time then perhaps other family members or friends can throw some light on the situation.  Difficult to know what to suggest to help you clear your thoughts but it does appear that the subject is so emotionally charged for him, he would rather not talk about it and it may be a case of accepting this if you wish to continue forward together.  Hope others will be along to offer their thoughts.
