  • Hi Emmanuelle,

Although I don't have a colostomy, I have an ileostomy and when I have watery output, I take medication called Loperimide which seems to help slow down my output. I also eat marshmallows, crumpets and jelly babies which helps thicken output. Not sure if that's helpful info though if it's an infection your sister is suffering from Presumably, her medical team would prescribe anti-diarrhoea drugs if this was feasible?

    Take care, Jo xx
