on days like this

Hi everyone, I'm a 34 year old who's mum was diagnosed with lung cancer for the 2nd time a year ago. Her docs aren't recommending anymore treatment and the outlook is pretty bleak. Most days I'm ok getting on with life but today just isn't one of those days, I just can't stop crying. I'm so afraid I really don't want to lose my mummy.

  • Hi Emma,

So sorry your mum has this blasted disease. Our emotions are what they are and sometimes they just overflow as yours are today. It doesn't matter how old you are your still your mums baby. When I feel overwhelmed with stuff I take 'rescue remedy', its a tincture you put 3 or four drops on the tongue and it helps to balance you emotions. Any health food shop, Boots etc will sell it.

Is there any chance of a second opinion on your mums condition? I have heard of someone doing this and getting further treatment. Of course I know nothing about her situation but perhaps its worth thinking on.

Wishing you both well and sending hugs
