My wife got diagnosed with stage 4a cervical cancer in december 2013 she(we) went through radio and chemo from jan 14 for 3months then had regular scans for the next 10 months which showed unconclusive results or shadow as it was put to us then in oct 14 we went for what we thought was a routine appointment to be told that she had to have her bladder bowel and full hysterectomy done, since which she has had many complications. This is not a complaint about the NHS as without the excellent care received she would be dead it is an issue that can benifit others if she had the hysterectomy early she wouldnt have 2 bags fitted.since which she has had complications ,again the severity of the operation is only over shadowed by the skill of the surgeons to perform such a complex op and you can live .this has not just afected my wife but me and my 2 daughters as we have lost our home and it could of all been stopped by having a smear test.please forward this by any social media if one women gets one test even if it is clear then losing the house is not in vain
