I'm glad to hear that your son now has a date for his surgery. It's understandable that you'll be feeling anxious about this over the next few days, but as you say, hopefully there will be some positive news to follow.

Surgery took 95% and we were told went well but a week later last Tuesday we were told it was a  grade 3 astrocytoma and that Max may only have five years left to live. I am heartbroken for him. I cannot begin to comprehend how he is feeling and how he will adjust to such shocking news my husband and I are both really struggling but will be strong for him no matter what with him all the way he starts radiotherapy for six weeks soon and then chemotherapy for a year. My poor baby is only 26.
