I'm so sorry to hear that someone you care for has been diagnosed with stage 2 bowel cancer, as well as living with dementia. It must have been really difficult to hear that news particulary as the specialists have said that treatment is not an option.

Hi, my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer with a prognosis of 6-9 months life expectancy. He too has dementia and this has made the situation doubly difficult, as we have to have the same conversation about cancer over and over as he keeps forgetting he has it.

My sisters and I are broken with it all, our mum is also in a dementia unit we are all mentally exhausted, but you keep going because you have to, if I stop to think I think about everything I'd crack up :( I do totally understand how you're feeling.
