My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer 18 months ago. So lucky he is still here but endless appointments and he is now in hospital are taking their toll. Emotionally and physically drained and feeling very isolated

A very warm welcome to Cancer Chat Cheryl-g, although I'm so sorry to hear what you and your husband have been through over the last 18 months, and how drained and isolated you are feeling.
Being a carer is incredibly difficult but I'm glad you've reached out to us as so many of our members who have cared for loved ones will know exactly what you're going through, so you are not alone, and hopefully some of them will join me on this discussion soon to offer their support and advice.
I'm not sure from your post if you have spoken to your GP about how you are feeling but if not, do consider booking an appointment with them as they can provide you with further support and make you aware of any carer support groups in your area that you can join and connect with others who are in this position as well.
Carers UK and Marie Curie have a lot of useful resources too, but if you would like to talk to one of our cancer nurses about any of this, you can give them a call on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very insightful and will do all they can to help you at this very challenging time.
We are here for you Cheryl-g and are sending you all our strength and support.
Kind regards,
Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
