Leg cramps

Hiya my husband got bad news a few weeks ago he had bladder cancer through getting a colonoscopy.he’s still waiting on his ct scan and ultrasound which take place in a few days but he’s started having really bad leg cramps paracetamol or ibrofen don’t help he’s awake most of the night we have also tried magnesium oil with no luck . Has anyone else had these symptoms and what did they do or what pain relief helps .

    I'm sorry to hear about your husband's diagnosis. It must be an incredibly difficult time for both of you, especially with the pain and the uncertainty as you await further tests.
    Although I’m not a medical professional, from what I have read, leg cramps can sometimes be linked to a number of different causes. It might be helpful to have a word with your husband's healthcare team to see whether the cramps could be connected to his treatment or possibly other underlying factors.

    Some people have found that staying well-hydrated, doing some gentle stretches before bed, or using heat packs can help ease the discomfort.
