  • A very warm welcome to the Cancer Chat forum Caerphilly although I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of speech your family member is contending with at the moment. This must be so difficult for you all.

I really hope the hospice have been able to provide you with the vital information and support you are seeking but if it would help to have a quick chat about this with one of our cancer nurses, they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They will do all they can to answer your questions and provide any further insight that they can.

Hopefully some of our members who have been in a similar position with their loved ones will stop by soon to share their experiences and advice but in the meantime, our thoughts are with you Caerphilly and we're sending all our strength to you and your family at this very challenging time.

    Kind regards,
