My husband has bowel cancer that has spread to lungs and liver? He is thinking of going to the Arcadia clinic in Germany. Has anyone been there or heard of it..
Its one of many cancer health spas. They dont offer a cure but may make you feel better for a few days. At £1000 a day you both could take a luxury cruise giving you the same feeling of wellbeing.
No I do not know of anyone who has visited this small German Clinic.
There are many such clinics in the UK. Search for integrative cancer care clinics. Your husband may be better off visiting a UK clinic rather than make the long journey to Germany when he is not well. They offer no cure but will work in conjunction with your regular treatment if any. They offer alternative and complementary therapies that can make you feel better mentally and physically. Some of the treatments seem dubious but things like massage, hydrotherapy relaxing and stretching in warm pools , reflexology, healthy diet, vitamins can all add to ones wellbeing. You both could be equally pampered and spoilt on a luxury cruise for the same price or less.
Please do not go this clinic. There is no aftercare for patients. No proper risk assessment carried out. Left to your own devices and actually worse offf.
